Baking Story

My love for cooking and baking started as early as 8 years old or so. 

I remembered those beautiful hot summer days growing up in Jordan, we used to play in the backyard and to take a rest under the shades of the trees on a hot summer day, had a special feeling on its own. 

We thought at that time that to make our experience quite memorable, it would be very appetizing to cook our own meal outdoors. 

We worked hard to collect grass, plant leaves and cut them with any piece of wood or stone we could find, and pretended we were preparing a meal for us to enjoy on such a nice summer day in the outdoors . 

Decades passed since then, I travelled and lived in different countries in the middle East, including Jordan and Saudi, got exposed and savored the middle eastern and gulf countries cuisines. 

With every meal or dessert, I had, I felt they planted the seeds deep inside for my love and passion for cooking and baking throughout the past decades. 

For the last few years, I felt that my love for art in the form of drawing and painting blossomed. At the same time, I felt a strong desire that my old passion for baking and cooking started to torture me more. 

After dining in many restaurants throughout Asia, the middle east, Europe, the United States and Canada, I started to develop a taste to what I liked the most in meals and why. 

I started to experiment with some family recipes and researched many online resources regarding meals and desserts I thought it would appeal to people from different backgrounds. 

Day after day, I used many hours during the weekend to put my cooking recipes into action. 

I had my share of uncooked, overcooked, burnt meals or dessert.

I felt every experience made me more determined to adjust few things that led to the result I eventually wanted, and then repeated my trial again and again, until a better product was made. 

I believe during the journey, I uncovered many interesting facts about foods, spices, and how cooking and baking can be transformed into an exciting journey , and led me to discover the interesting, and the unknown world of many cuisines throughout the whole world. 

I have a special interest in baking, and I learned and baked many of the middle eastern breads, pies, dessert. 

Every time I baked, I shared the baked goods with family, coworkers and some friends, many of whom indicated that it exuded aroma but also the special mix of dough, spices, and the stuffing made them desire to have more. 

I know the journey to any great thing is not straightforward, but I believe I have the persistence, the patience, and the passion to keep doing it over and over again. 

My area of baking interest includes middle eastern thyme pies, desserts with dates and nuts, bread with dates, honey cake and others. I have made thin flat middle eastern bread which I felt was a success. 

In addition, I started to experiment with some Italian bakery items such as biscotti, ciabatta, and focaccia bread. 

My vision is to share my finished baking products with the local community from my online platform, to be picked up locally, and in the future hopefully to be able to ship within my state.

My goal is to allow the interested customers to savor the delicious baking goods that indeed will take their gustatory experience to a whole new level.
